Quote:A woman who featured in an episode of the popular television show Can't Pay? We'll Take It Away! has received damages and an apology from Channel 5, a High Court Judge has been told.

Adanna Clarke took legal action against Channel 5 Broadcasting after complaining about the misuse of her private information in respect of the filming, making and "multiple broadcasts" of an episode of the programme.

Bemused by the use of the phrase "popular television show" at the start of that article. I thought that *every* Channel 5 programme only got about 17 viewers (at best)?! Tongue

Its one of those shows that's good to watch when its on in the background - don't need to pay too much attention - I like it - couldn't do that job
<t>When I finally decided to get involved.. I was consistent</t>

Quite a dated view of Channel 5.

The show rates pretty well for the channel and is one of its better known shows I'd say.
