Seems like they ended that interview regarding weddings a bit early and suddenly there, seemingly just for the sake of hitting the top of the hour on time. Would have been better to have a full interview, considering they're still on air for another 2 hours.

For a channel offering appointment-to-view programming, they seem very keen on hitting the TOTH. There's been a few occasions now where it feels like they're rushing a guest at the end of each hour.

After 8pm last night things seemed to fall in line with minimal technical problems.

While daytime has been better today it is still plagued with issues, I have just watched two Zoom links go down in the space of 10 minutes and I have just tuned in. I have to say the talent are doing the best they can under these circumstances.

The big test for this channel will be where there is a major breaking news event. At the moment they don't seem to have a newsgathering operation to be able to do much.

Colin Brazier and Simon McCoy should have no problem handling breaking news, but the other presenters I would not be so confident about.

Despite everything I agree with JB on his statement that the left, and specifically the Twitterati, are far better at mobilising protest movements online. The poor technical standards alone are giving them all the ammo they need, before we even get onto editorial.

In turn the campaigning, which initially seems successful, could spark a major domino effect with advertisers pulling their copy from the channel.

If that happens, they're done for. There is a precedent here when the News Of The World was forced to fold due to advertisers refusing to buy space in the wake of the phone hacking scandal. It then depends how far the backers will continue dipping into into wallets to prop it up should the advertising revenue get cut off?

Also agree the knee-taking rants are becoming very tiresome, the point's been made. You ain't gonna stop them doing it. Move on.

You can't help but feel there'll be a fascinating documentary on this in a couple of year's time... ironically on BBC Two.

Has the channel broadcast conspiracy theories and misinformation related to covid? if so I am sure Ofcom will take action in due course.

Indeed, the ventilator chat about them being dangerous going unchallenged last night and a few other examples that have been detailed in this thread. I agree, let's hope Ofcom is watching.

Biggest show of the day was Andrew Neil with 153,000 (0.9%)
Dewbs & Co. = 135,000 (0.9%)
Breakfast = 79,200 (2.5%) [Sky at Breakfast was 58k]

Whole day figures (6am till midnight):
GB News = 74,100
Sky News = 78,000
BBC News = 138,400

So there's something on the logo that I can't help but notice every time I look at it... looking at the bottom of the N, there's a tricolor stripe. The thing about this tricolor stripe is that the angle and colors remind me heavily of the 1983 LWT ident used after the end of in-vision.

Besides that, nothing new I've noticed with the channel, other than the fact that since I turned it on 20 minutes ago there haven't been any sound issues. Hopefully this is a good sign?

I still think the curiosity factor is a big part in their viewing figures yesterday, either due to the well publicised technical problems or waiting for presenters to stumble. Dewbs & Co would have been given a boost by the PM's statement about restrictions being kept in place.

With the top story, apparently, in Wales someone leaving a negative review on Trip Advisor?! That is not news I'm afraid! This section of output is really grating on me.

Having a scout around the internet there are quite a few stories which would benefit from TV coverage in Wales and need a visual side (which haven't been covered elsewhere on TV) - this story comes to mind: https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/foot...0-20812866

Why are the regional journalists plonking themselves somewhere nice to just tell us a story, with no footage or real context as to what's its about? Why not file a package about the story for output later and do a live hit into it? I'd rather see that than someone telling me something. Surely that's a better way to do things and doesn't seem too complicated to achieve? It would also give the presenters in the studio something to actually talk about.
