Alex Scott has been shoehorned into the presenting line-up - the stage is going to get a little crowded at times.

She presented it last year as well.

Thanks - I had a suspicion in the back of my head that she did but quite a few firsts for her in the last year so couldn't quite remember.

Still think though that three presenters was maybe a little too many for one programme but four is overkill.

Will this be the first time ever a non-PSB broadcaster will provide original Welsh language progarmming?

Sky Sports have had Welsh language commentary on Wales football internationals before but I don't think they had wraparound studio coverage in Welsh.

It is the first England Women's Rugby League International to be shown live on Terrestrial Television.

Official announcment that Sky Sports will show (some of) the Women's Big Bash cricket. It doesn't look like some matches are available, possibly due to the number of men's T20 World Cup matches being shown over the next few weeks.

Also, for the first time this season Sky are showing three Bundesliga matches on linear TV channels this weekend. They have usually showed only two on TV and the rest online only. Hopefully Sky Sports doesn't implode with this overscheduling...

It's more to do with the fact that while every WBBL game can be viewed, only 24 of the 59 games are produced for TV broadcast. The remaining 35 games are primarily offered as online streams.

BBC to show both 2020-21 Women's FA Cup Finals on Saturday 31 October 2021, this is the end of last seasons competition and this seasons competiton will be in the New Year.

Something I missed but BBC Sport NI announced a few weeks ago a new 5 year deal with the NIFL Premiership
* BBC will cover 38 matches live per season (30 on the BBC iplayer & BBC Sport website with the other 8 live on BBC Two NI)
* BBC will also cover at least 1 live game per round from the Irish Cup with the latter stage live on BBC Two NI
* BBC will continue to cover highlights and live games on BBC Radio Ulster.

This is a great deal for the Irish League when you consider in the last 5 years only 6 games per season were live on Sky Sports (which they are still covering at present) and the Cup Final live on BBC with only highlights on the iplayer or Final Score.

Just when overseas TV rights couldn't get more baffling..
You would have thought that Womens BBL rights would have been lumped in with the men's rights, which if distributed centrally, by Cricket Australia, would end up by default on the UK rights holder, BT Sport.

The draw for the Women’s Euro 2022 will be aired live on the BBC on the 28th October. The draw will be held at 16.30 and will be presented by Alex Scott and Gabby Logan. The Match schedule will then be confirmed shortly after the draw.

Previously the Cricket Australia rights have been sold as one package. This time they’ve seemingly been split, with Sky getting the domestic and BT the internationals.

Not sure it’s really that baffling, just different to what’s happened before.

Suppose you could it could also been seen as Cricket Australia attempting to engineer a bidding war between BT and Sky, by splitting off the Ashes (test and one dayers) rights and the domestic competitions.
