Evening bulletin for both regions from TW again, with ‘BBC South & South East’ astons.
Back to normal at 10pm, apparently.

A cue dot appeared towards the end of Antiques Roadshow (on BBC One South only, including Oxford), which I took to mean that Southampton was checking it is back in circuit.

Network is no longer fed via the regions, until the regions soft opt themselves, then the physical switch at the CCM site routes the 'tromboned' feed from the region to the local transmitters. So what your saw was indeed a soft opt test

ITV News Meridian gone back to social distancing tonight

BBC South Today late news was 1 minute too short last night. A long hold on the final weather slide, then a South Today holding slide, then they crashed into the Paper Review (because of course the News Channel is the Network sustaining feed during opts), then that crashed out into the national weather. Class !

Can’t remember the last time there were any trails for local or regional stations. It’s not that long ago there were regular opt-out slots for trails after the weekday opts and a few times a year there were slots throughout the day, at weekends and some even in peak.

BBC Local Radio is pretty much run centrally now isn’t it, with standardised programme slots, centralised playlists and on air campaigns?
Therefore if there was a trail, I’d expect it to be a network trailer advertising ‘BBC Local Radio - listen on Sounds’

BBC London & South East was back again tonight. I don't think it was pre-planned as the earlier edition on BBC One London crashed into SET, while the weather bulletin was for the SE only.
