Is it me or this feel like a bit of one-upmanship, given that Nigel Farage has also interviewed President Trump (for GBN) this year?

Where's the so called fun that Piers is promising? This is why GMB was good for him because he could switch between serious news and light news, this just seems to be Piers ranting into the abyss.

I think TalkTV will do well outside of London and university cities. It’s GB News done properly and with a clear Fox News slant, something we don’t have in the UK.

Piers has referenced GB News, not by name but he referred to it as a “little watched network somewhere in the UK.” Quite unprofessional, but unsurprising.

I realise it's a first show etc, but surely he has more content than talking about how great he is & his Trump interview?
Oh man, I forgot my Trump Lingo Bingo card, probably would have had a full house by now.

Will be interesting if Piers can secure major politicians either for a prerecorded interview or a live interview because he can't just use the same old people he's interviewed in the past.

I don't doubt that he'll get some 'big names' at the start, but whether they'll agree to appear again if he uses his usual 'I can shout my opinion louder than you' interview technique is another matter.
"Good evening. Dull, grey, cold, miserable - and that's just me. The weather hasn't been great, either."

To be honest, I found The News Desk more engaging and interesting than this.
(Next: "who's more honest - me or Trump?")

Way too much narcissism in this show. I had to turn off 2 mins into the Trump interview as it went completely off the scale.

The rest is a radio station on TV.The radio station aspects will almost certainly look better than GB News though. It will need to be a lot better than TalkRadio on TV has been the last couple of years. Just a couple of cameras watching a phone-in presenter doesn't warrant switching the TV on. |
