Could the National News be affected if it is an ITN issue?

Quite possibly reading this.

The ITV News managed to get on air but it's quite tightly shot and with no bongs and voice intro,

[TMD_24]

Looks like they have made it on air but the intro had a few difficulties with sound.

I assume this is an issue that can be fixed within a few hours if not a day so ITV London should be on air tomorrow.

First time I've seen BBC London use multiple virtual screens in A.

…and it looks terrible multiple times.

[Newsman]

Why are they using such a drab, still, grey backdrop? It’s really odd, not least as we’re having such a long, hot, sunny summer.  The main shot makes it look they’re presenting in a broom cupboard.

ITV News London reporter Ria Chatterjee has left for Channel 4 News.

She'll be missed at ITV London but she'll be great at Channel 4 News.

[DTV]

Have we been given any reason for the extended decamp of BBC London into A? My assumption would be that D is being prepped to take on one of the news channels on a full-time basis as part of a wider studio shuffle, so that presumably E can be remodelled ahead of the launch of the merged channel.
