What happens if the celebrity partnered with an unvaccinated professional catches Covid from them. With reports that celebrity is angry at being forced to dance with an unvaccinated professional things could get toxic.
If their identities get into the press I can’t them being able to stay on the show.

I am surprised they’ve allowed their flagship show to be embroiled in this issue though, although to be fair knowing how the BBC tend to get tied in knots with their own PR, I probably shouldn’t be surprised. I’m surprised they didn’t just ask for proof of vaccination status when choosing the couples

The pros are locked into their contracts in around March/April, which would have been before most of them qualified for a vaccine.

On the basis of that first dance, I think Rose Ayling-Ellis might be one of the most inspired castings in this show's history!
Have they ditched AR this series? Haven't noticed any yet.

Looks like they've adopted a bye system similar to DOI which allows couples to miss a week then return which wasn't possible last year due to the shorter run.

I think it's always been the case that a contestant can miss one week and then return, due to injury or illness. Last year was the exception to the rule, as the longer self-isolation period meant this was impossible. Tom and Amy must be gutted though; the fact they can't train is a non-trivial problem, too.
