Thats a shame as she was an excellent presenter and often covered on Wales At Six when Jonathan or Andrea weren't presenting. Didn't she used to work at ITV Westcountry before she joined ITV Wales?

She did and before that was at Made in Bristol. She was also on ITV West Country's graduate scheme as well I think before getting the Made TV gig?
Rhys Williams is leaving BBC Wales to join ITV News:

Replacing Rupert Evelyn then, or an additional reporter as part of the ITV Evening News changes?

Additional - Rupert is to focus on West of England
It appears I got the move of Ellie Pitt in error. She's joined the network ITV News as a Midlands reporter rather than Central as part of the investment in extra reporters as part of the Evening News changes.
There will be a vacancy for Health Correspondent at ITV Wales. Ellie Pitt took on the role last year after James Crichton-Smith moved on to another post.
Kelsey Redmore was live on GMB this morning covering the severe weather in Penarth. Its good to see regional reporters and presenters used on the national news when needed.

Meanwhile on BBC Breakfast Tomas Morgan was live from Porthcawl, where conditions looked very treacherous indeed.
The usual story of journalists being sent out as the public are told to stay in.

To be fair though they are essential workers providing information and news to the public. The people who should stay in are the public going to such places just to take photos.

Some of the reporting though has been the equivalent of standing in a Covid ward without wearing any PPE
Des Coleman from Central presented our weather on ITV Wales this evening. I think this is the first time. He introduced himself and said he was covering for Ruth. Normally when we get a presenter from another region no mention is made about them covering but i thought it was quite nice he did that.

Yes ive seen him on GMB and on Central a few times which we get on +1 in Wales.

We almost always get a presenter from Anglia (Chris or Aisling) or Westcountry (Charlie or Kate) when another region covers. Occasionally we have had someone from the North e,g Jo Blythe and Jon Mitchell are few times.
The problems of scheduling after live football (and extended news).
