I think there's a chance that if Omicron causes a lockdown in January, then GMB will go back to March-July 2020 format. With Lorraine joining at 9 and the titles could go back to the old ones but the headlines wipe would probably stay the same. Since if you remember - the reason GMB went back to the old titles in 2020 was because they were unable to do them due to lack of team so that's highly likely.

GMB and Lorraine remained separate during the previous lockdown so I can't imagine they'll go back to that format if there is a lockdown in January.

Well they already have so rule nothing out. It's all about flexing as required given the circumstances- they may have continued with separate shows during the Winter Lockdown but no doubt they had contingency plans in place similar to the first lockdown if they needed them.

Also some other issues today - Laura had no weather graphics during her weather segments, the lower thirds seemed to stay on screen going in/out of breaks and at the start of Andis Competitions it didn't play immediately. I'll upload a montage of these issues if you guys want them.

Another side note - Andi is actually a really good presenter, I would love to see him take up a full time role on Lorraine during half term.

I wonder if ITV would ask ITN (ITV News) to air special bulletins between 6-9am on 29th-31st December. If rumours of a lockdown are true, these will be important days for people to tune in for news. Otherwise, ITV will have no LIVE programming on their channel each day apart from the normal ITV News bulletins.

Agreed, important days for news ahead but the majority of next week's ITV national news bulletins at lunch, early evening and late-night, even away from the bank holidays, have been scheduled in reduced slots of just 10 or 15 minutes.
