Good Morning Britain

I disagree - you’re more likely to have people winding down, not working and therefore not watching GMB in Dec than Jan.

The point is though most don't have the luxury of winding down quite so early.

I agree, it’d be much more annoying, this sometimes happens on the radio, when the main presenters turn up on the 10th Jan and start talking about how great their Christmas was. To most normal people Christmas is a distant memory by then!

I think you’ve missed my point. I’d say you’re more likely to find people who have taken annual leave in the run up to Christmas than you are the first week of January, so having your main team back straight after new year makes most sense.

Apparently she’s been REPLACED and viewers were confused as to why
Makes a change from being AXED, I suppose.
And of course let us not forget these old chestnuts:

Furious Susanna Reid tells co-host ‘I QUIT’ after row on

‘Won’t be the same’: viewers distressed as Susanna Reid presents ‘final show’

Who is Susanna Reid and why was she not on Good Morning Britain?
<t></t>
The Liverpool Echo was reporting that Corrie had been ‘AXED’ the other day, which would be quite a big deal if true

Would probably warrant rather more than a few lines in The Liverpool Echo if so!
"Good evening. Dull, grey, cold, miserable - and that's just me. The weather hasn't been great, either."

You forgot the other one "GMB (or any other programme for that matter) in major presenter shake-up"
It is very annoying when the press over exaggerate totally normal things like Susanna going off for the holidays. Do they know that people are allowed breaks without it being SUSANNA QUITS GMB! WHY IS SUSANNA MISSING?

Not as annoying as reading the cycle of posts about tabloid headlines on here every few weeks in one thread or another.

They’re tabloids, it’s what they do. Posting it here doesn’t make it stop.
When you do a journalism degree, is there a ‘how to write click bait’ module, or do young trainees start work and be told, what you need to do is watch The Chase, and write dramatic stories about standard bits of game play, and always ensure you use words like ‘thrown into chaos’, ‘people aren’t happy’ etc
GMB down one cover presenter:

Seems like they are starting the main show at 6 too tomorrow:

They’re there pretty early considering it doesn’t start for twelve hours.
That’s unfortunate timing considering Sean usually appears every day during holiday periods. I would have expected him on the newsreader role this week and then hosting the whole programme on the days it’s on next week
