Exciting, because since I started watching the News Channel, I've always wanted an 'unusual' presenter to be on weekends to do the BBC One news. I never like it to be the regular presenter, whoever they are. Then, when the 'unusual' person starts doing the news more often and then becomes regular, I don't want them anymore, I always want whoever rarely does it to be doing it, until they actually do quite often, then want someone else, who I then won't like as soon as they start doing it regularly. I am therefore glad we are having a presenter today who hasn't normally done the weekend lunchtime news and hopefully we might see more people we normally see on the News Channel only more often on BBC One. And, then once they are on every week...
However they have got fewer people these days to choose from, impacted by the coronavirus too that seems to have a small number of presenters being regularly rotated for several weeks at a time. I hope we get more 'rare' presenters on BBC One. Exciting would not quite be the word for many people at all - in fact it would be dry and boring, but for TVNewsViewer, it is hugely exciting and perhaps I am half-winding you up in my excitement! (!!) Only half(!).
"Expect" is an interesting word (again not interesting for anyone much at all). I obviously must like the unexpected here.
