Yes, the second half is the new branding, I've kept in the final bumpers and the theme song of the old branding for contrast and compare purposes and to mark the transition. You can see the DOG change at 2:33, the moment of the actual rebrand is at 3:44 (immediately after the very last ident of the old branding).

Nickelodeon UK censorship is so strict.

For example, I was watching the SpongeBob episode "Karate Star" on NickToons today, and I noticed that during the scene at the Krusty Krab, a majority of the music was cut. I started to think "Was this a censor, or just a weird music editing choice?" I decided to check my Amazon copy, and there was a scene with Patrick karate chopping the Krusty Krab door, meaning Nick UK cut that scene out.

I also have a copy of this episode from Cula4 (Irish dub) and the scene was kept there. Just goes to show how strict Nick UK can be.

I believe Nicktoons has a slightly younger target audience than the main Nickelodeon channel which seems to have decided it wants to target the tween audience that Disney Channel left behind.

You may want to check what happens with this episode on the main channel.

Nickelodeon and NickToons use the same prints. I remember NickToons UK aired The Krusty Slammer, and they blacked out the part at the very end where chum lands in Mr. Krabs mouth. I checked the Nick UK airing and it's the same thing.

Completely off topic to Nick but...
Friday is the 20th anniversary of the CBBC Channel and the CBeebies brand as a whole. Does anyone think they are going to do anything for it?

Nothing, just a normal schedule.

Nothing goes to happen as they doesn't acknowledge their anniversaries as an TV channel. However, i expect them to revamp their on-air presentation package in near but not distant future giving the ongoing pan-BBC rebrand since October last year as part of the BBC Centenary celebration, particularly CBeebies, which still using 2002-style branding package despite many improvements.

The kids channels are only getting minor tweaks. Both have had versions of the current logos with the new blocks sighted.

The anniversary is being celebrated with a royal bedtime story.

20 years already? Yikes. And CBeebies haven't even had a logo change since...

Back to NickToons, they're airing the SpongeBob episode "Are You Happy Now?" next Tuesday. I hear this episode very rarely airs on the network.

That has made me realize how much old CBeebies shows got repeated way after their time. According to Programme Index, Balamory (which dates back to 2002) and Tweenies (which dates back to 1999) both got repeats until 2016.

Of course, In the Night Garden dates back to 2007 and still gets broadcast daily. Probably because there would be outrage if they removed it. There was actually a brief period in 2008 when they removed it from it's Bedtime Hour slot, but at that point, there was still daytime slots and BBC Two slots.

One of the more peculiar Cbeebies programmes in the first few years was Tots TV, which was of course a CITV programme which was already getting on 10 years old at that point.
It’s amazing to think that a channel that launched to expand what was a minimal amount of then CBBC programming aimed at preschool aged children has become such a devoted brand to children and parents alike, possibly a bigger brand than CBBC.

Back to the launch of the channels though, I recently watched this clip (courtesy of Random TV)
https://youtu.be/EKs5U-AppoE

I find it odd to think that this is the same studio that is now used for Lorraine, Loose Women, Peston and Sunday Brunch. They Maximised the space brilliantly, especially across the IVC area, X Change and Newsround update booth (of course the studio was also used for the first series of Dick & Dom in da bungalow and the UK Top 40). Looking at the clip though, a lot of the set appears to be solidly built. As it was a standing set, would they have possibly built in walls rather than using sets?

Successful branding stands the test of time and doesn't require a branding change (maybe slight alterations for modernisation purposes), the CBeebies logo is a fine example. As we know, the BBC logo only had a slight change because they wanted to move away from a licenced font because of the expense otherwise it wouldn't have changed. Also there's some public pressure for the BBC to move away from any association with Eric Gill.
