The directors had not been to Redhill Aerodrome since December 2020 and are believed to have left the UK.
A shortfall of "several thousand assets" that money had been loaned on is staggering.
The list of creditors to the Television and Aviation sides of the business contains a huge list of very familiar names, many of whom are small businesses, often sole traders. I doubt they will ever see anything much out of the administration process.

I'm aware that some of the assets have already been sold off, or the sale agreed, so the next report will also make for interesting reading I'm sure.

It's extraordinary to see that list. Like you I see some familiar names in there. Over 90k owed to both FTVS and Focus !
There are a few non-banking firms who must have been regular suppliers to Arena who are owed large sums.
FTVS being an obvious one, as Arena didn't own their own gennys as far as I am aware (why would any OB company go through the hassle?!!) In the old days BBC OBs had some of its own, and we were forever having to fix them on top of getting the rest of the job done.
Cloudbass do have some of their own - although I'm not sure how often they actually use them!

ACS owed £70k - at least they have the corporate backing of EMG I suppose.

It was flying for a new company, A2B Aero, with familiar names from the Arena days.
I think the actual aircraft was leased by Arena if you read the administrators 130 pages.
Don't think A2B Aero are a new company? They've been around for a while, admittedly not offering aerial filming/newsgathering services specifically as far as I was aware.

If you're interested... trucks for sale right now, "lightweight" assets to be auctioned next month. 4 of the trucks are sold already - I've head that Timeline & Cloudbass have been expressing interest...

Well, UHD trucks OB X and Z seem to be already missing from the auction list ? 8-)

Yep, looks like Arena OB Z as Timeline UHD 5.

OB X is now UHD 4, and that is at Chelsea FC, OB Z is now UHD 5 at Kidderminster Harriers,
OB 17 is now OB 7 and is not doing sport this weekend, but is out elsewhere, and the former VT 6 is now VT 1 and is at Crystal Palace FC.
The ex-Arena trucks are now busy again, with some of the former Arena staff working in them, which is great to see.
Is Arena silver sufficiently close to Timeline silver so as to not require a respray?

It's looks close to a Mercedes grey, but apparently Arena used a different RAL code for their grey, so their tractor units were resprayed in that too

Looks like they're not respraying.

To be fair it's probably close enough, the cost and more importantly the time to get it done is more hassle than it is worth.

Definitely not. One of the CTV trucks is apparently a different shade of green on one side and they've never felt the need to respray that!
