Not the wisest decision to make. It only feeds into both sides who perceive the channel to be something it might not even be.

That's a bit of an odd headline there's not really a correlation between 'left'/'right' and leave/remain, the 2 most well known socialist politicians of modern times were anti-EU

Going back to the newspapers that GB News have been using to promote their channel. While they've been using the Express and Telegraph which target their core audience, they've also been giving interviews and exclusives to the impartial 'i' newspaper (owned by the Daily Mail) which has been happily plugging stories and behind the scenes copy.
I doubt they'd go for the 'i' readership if they didn't want just the type of people who listen to talkRADIO and read The Sun for they need a broader audience for the channel to be viable.

They need to decide whose news channel they are though:

If nothing else their launch day might be car-crash TV given the array of problems that seem to be besetting it.

Another thing: you need to disable your ad blocker software in order to watch the live stream. And, as expected from a tweet by Mr. Neil himself, the live stream (for now) is available to watch from outside the UK. All kind of problems happen when TV stations, specially those developed from scratch, launch their broadcasts. So, those things are expected. Let’s wait and see how this might be solved in the days to come.

So, I like the fact that GB News has actually published an Editorial Charter, that seems to quite clearly define what their channel will be about, and the fact they have done this, actually makes me feel better about watching it.
They talk about covering "what is going on, not just what is going wrong", which actually is something I have wanted to see more of in terms of news coverage, so for me, that's a big plus. I also like the idea that they will be "Putting facts first". Again, to me that is something that the current TV News product in general seems to be a bit wishy washy about. This actually makes me more interested in the channel, and I'm now looking forward to seeing what they do.

Whereas on GB News people may be free to say however they voted without fear. And I just noticed GB News is now actually publishing news! https://www.gbnews.uk/gb-views/keir-star...ent/102911 Has anyone managed to find the app?
