Yes, the two stories don't particularly add up. Sally is doing 25 episodes.

Something interesting at 4pm though...'due to schedule changes the new Tipping Point episodes now start next week' which I didn't quite understand the logic behind, as Tipping Point is running as normal at 4pm all this week! Perhaps something to do with Prince Philip?

Same with The Chase, which was also down for new episodes today. I wonder why? Are they expecting some disruption later in the week?

Might be because Tipping Point's almost certain not to go ahead on Friday, possibly The Chase, so it may be so the series ends on a Friday, not like a Thursday or Monday? Bit contrived reasoning though.

It might be that they’ve realised that it’s still the school holidays in many areas and they tend to show repeats in the holidays due to lower numbers of available viewers

Possibly. Though you'd think it would affect Tenable as well. Today's team had a choice of two categories for the final round - Geography or Modern Royals. They went for geography, and I suspect that had they chosen the royals, that episode might not have aired yet, as it would potentially mention Philip.

Also, interesting to note today's episode of the chase and all this week is from 2014. Quite unusual as repeats are usually from 2017.

Considering episodes are all self contained it is surprising they've dropped them. Maybe it's more the case they think everyone is having haircuts and at the pub, plus I think much of England is still on the Easter school holidays, that they've opted to hold back a week.

Probably kept Tenable as new episodes due to the change in host.

What a shame. I’m well past the demographic for the programme, but from the bits that I’ve caught it seemed to be well produced offering for kids with a lot of well produced features. I’ve just watched a behind the scenes video after watching the highlights on the website. Does anybody know where it was produced, I’m sure I remember originally it came from an apartment, but recently it seems to have been from a makeshift studio in a complex somewhere.

I wonder if it’s a budgeting issue (though I’m unsure if scrambled came out of ITV Breakfast’s budget), with less going towards the channel again. Some of their newest productions, including How have been funded in conjunction with a government scheme.

As the only continuity that CITV had, it’s a shame to see it disappear. I know that the programmes are very important, but I’m sure on here we all fondly remember the children’s continuity presenters of our time, be it CBBC’s Schofe, Andy, Andi, Toby, Phillippa, Chris, Josie, Kirsten, Dick & Dom, Steve, Angellica, Adrian, Michael, Andrew, Ed & Oucho, CITV’s Tommy Boyd, Gary, Debbie, Jerry, Clive, Jeanne & Scaly the Dog, Stephen, Danielle, Tom, Andrea, David, Leigh, Leah, Michael, or ones from satellite channels such as Mike, Youlanda, Dave, Nigel, Jemma, James, Jean and even DJ Kat. They may not have been the characters or main stars of the programmes but they offered a face to the channel/strand, made it personable and for me got me interested in TV Presentation from a young age.”, it’s a shame that children these days don’t have such a service from all networks these days.

EDIT: ...and that’s without mentioning all of the faces from Saturday and Sunday morning shows on the BBC and ITV, and services such as T4, The Core and Milkshake.

The atmosphere on The Price Is Right does feel as flat as a pancake without having a real audience and the contestants running down from the hollering crowd in a crazed state.

ITV2 moving into factual as part of the move to Hub-led commissioning.

A very interesting move as ITV2 have never done any factual as far as I'm aware? Perhaps to try and compete with BBC3's very successful factual shows

Good to see they're moving back into drama too - they've not done any for quite some time, though have had fairly regular scripted comedy in that time.

Depending on what they do commission in factual, they've got quite the original slate on the go for the next 6-12 months then. A few new dating formats which could be returnable, (The Cabins already confirmed for a S2 next January) & a new comedy from Iain Stirling.

Some new hits could even make them a bit more confident to pull the plug on Celebrity Juice, which is performing quite poorly this series.

So it seems the "new" episodes of Judge Rinder starting today are just old cases re-edited with links from Robert rather than the VO.

From 8th May, Epic Gameshow and Game of Talents will swap in the schedule, meaning Epic Gameshow will be at 19:30 and Game of Talents will be at 20:30. This is most likely an attempt to find an audience for GOT, but I think that, based on recent ratings, Game of Talents is most likely dead, and they should’ve moved it to 18:30, with In For a Penny at 19:30 and Epic Gameshow at 20:00.
