"Fake ring shot"?

Eh?

?
MISLEADING HEADLINE "MAKES YOU READ ARTICLE", SAYS NAKED MILEY CYRUS.
The hoop of screens above the newsroom seen on Trundlecam has a fault so AR is being used to paint in a shot of the hoop fully lit up
Write that down in your copybook now
Sorry I meant a hoop Stanley I don’t know what it was called so I called it a fake ring lol.

It kinda of works well only it’s a bit wobbly, maybe the software pick ups the little bumps along the way.
I have noticed that today the BBC News at Six is at 6:30pm on BBC One, and that the BBC News at One has been shortened.....why is that?

Because it's a bank holiday

Yeah but is bank holiday in England so for most of their audience so that's the reason
<t></t>
Scotland, the only part of the UK where it isn’t a Bank Holiday has a full length Reporting Scotland at 6.45 so they’ve just simply made their own arrangements as they do most years on this day. Eastenders has been bumped to 10.35 on BBC One Scotland.

I think that a fair compromise then

Ok I think it wobbles on its accord, has the real hoop being taken down, or is the AR covering the real one and does anyone have a photo of the broken hoop?

Its covering it/overlaid. When they use the tracking shot from the left of the newsroom, heading towards studio E you can see a bit of the 'proper' hoop on the left hand side where the AR doesn't fully wrap around.
As seen on BBC Newswatch

Look up JakeTVFan's post over on page 55 for the video.

From the YouTube video that was posted from 9am with Derbyshire presenting. The real hoop is still there as you can see in the reflection behind her on the glass panes. I'd say the AR is covering up the real one up until whatever can be done can be done. Also considering that the Trundle shots are done on the hour, at least this gives them and us the live shots of the newsroom back that are needed.

It can be seen quite clearly in thi tweets what’s wrong with the Hoop.

There’s another chunk missing on the other side but that’s never seen on air. It’s a scaffolding job to fix it.
Martine on the One and the Five tomorrow! Not before time!
