A quick look at some of the new graphics with some brilliant Steadicam work.
They're both women and that trumps regionality; ITV guidelines
Piers Morgan has won best news presenter at the TRIC awards causing Huw Edwards to storm off.

This follows Piers tweeting his ticking clock image this morning, suggesting some sort of announcement is imminent.
And finally a statement from the man himself which definitively states he is moving on.

We know for a fact that Piers won't be returning to Good Morning Britain, and have done for a long time. Not sure why this thread has become a dumping ground for all of Piers' announcements when he doesn't present the show anymore and hasn't done since March.

Seems like the logical place to put them until a proper announcement is made (which could very well be today judging on various Tweets from Piers and an Instagram post by his wife).

The whole point of this thread is to discuss anything to do with the show. People are allowed to express their opinion. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean no one should post it.

This might help get this back on the topic of GMB soon Wink

Yes. A show that Piers Morgan doesn't work on, and hasn't worked on for several months.

This thread is to discuss Good Morning Britain and its presentation.

If you want to talk about Piers Morgan's exploits, for example, to have a discussion about this new job he's allegedly picked up which appears to be imminent in its announcement, then you are very welcome to set up a new topic and discuss it there until the cows come home.
"Good evening. Dull, grey, cold, miserable - and that's just me. The weather hasn't been great, either."
So given that Piers himself has confirmed that he will move to talkTV next year, the big question is, who is going to replace him on GMB now? Which one of the guest presenters there will finally get the gig?
The next few months are going to be a bit unusual, with both BBC Breakfast and GMB not having permanent Monday-Wednesday co-presenters along with Dan and Susanna respectively.

GMB need to have Piers' full-time replacement in by next January, 10 months is plenty enough time in my view, and it is slightly shorter than the 9 month gap between when Adrian and Christine jumped ship from DB and the Sept 2012 relaunch with Matt and Ranvir/Aled and Lorraine
Can this Finally put to bed the "Piers Returning to GMB" Rumours

Well this confirmation says it all, Piers Morgan is not going back to GMB and that's final. Now it's time to move on and put the Piers era in the past and to bed.
Wonder if GMB would try the suddenly available Andrew Neil as a guest presenter
If Adrian Chiles was too grumpy for breakfast TV then Andrew Neil certainly is.
