Was this shown on I player streams? I checked and it went straight from BBC news to the tribute programme.
It aired on all channels except BBC One and the news channel
It’s on BBC One only, just at 1930, right after the regional news.
BBC Two is carrying the News Channel, BBC Scotland is now a BBC Two relay.
It was on BBC Alba, as they went to An La, and it was shown on BBC Scotland for some reason, they didn't show the pictures at the end of the news channel simulcast and went to the family ident.
Yes you are right, just checked the iPlayer feed. Also according the schedule, there is no The Nine tonight and Newsnight will be on BBC Scotland.
Sky News looking at some other news now (20:38). George Floyd trial first.
Talking of Sky, I must say, I really do like the gold and purple colour scheme that Sky News have chosen.

Goes to show that you can do 'respectful' without resorting to 'all black and grey everything'.
"Good evening. Dull, grey, cold, miserable - and that's just me. The weather hasn't been great, either."
I'm led to believe this is from the BBC Website tonight

The women's football is on the red button, which makes the BBC Four decision even more baffling.
Write that down in your copybook now
I'm guessing the response will be: 'It's Royal Protocol'.

Oh very nice!
BBC Radio 2 now has a (mostly) revised schedule over the weekend.

"They don't want your name, just your number".
Have we ever seen a similar page to this on the BBC website? www.bbc.co.uk/nationalevent

Presumably about using the BBC's coverage of any events related to the death - as well as the funeral.

This description is on the BBC Contact page www.bbc.co.uk/contact:
Quote:Media access to BBC content
Information for other broadcasters wishing to use the BBC’s content about HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

It is silly that One and Two are showing the same thing.
I suppose the Women's Football Decision could be along these lines. If it was broadcast on a main channel, the 'clear everything' policy for wall-to-wall coverage is undermined, so by shifting it off channel the policy is maintained but the match is still available.

Can't be suprised to be honest, having it on BBC1 and 2 and suspending BBC4 really is overkill and they're probably getting a lot of stick for it. The BBC really should be offering an alternative on other channels for people who don't want to watch the news, it's not as if people who want to see it won't be able to find it easily enough on BBC1 and the news channel.
