I wouldn't say that, considering Pokémon Journeys has actually been broadcast on POP despite the Netflix deal. I assume this is only streaming rights, so POP still has the chances to broadcast PR.
Also known as "Allanbuzzy" on other places.

Well, that's why I phrased it as a question, I don't know for sure what's going on. It's unprecedented for it to be on streaming before it's on TV. Even in the US, only the first eight episodes have aired already and it's on a break for the summer, so episodes 9-11 will premiere on Netflix. And Nickelodeon's rights deal there is due to expire this year. Makes me wonder if Pop's is too.

They are starting to change their programmes, Castle is joining GREAT! tv from the 26th.

That's how it'll work.

Please stop with this. It's not happening.

I agree I am sure WarnerMedia own the brand "Boing" - at least they do in Italy, France and Spain... I did a quick search on the .gov copyright website (which is horrible to use) I found a few instances of Boing already being owned (again a few instances by Turner Broadcasting).

Kix was rebranded a while ago to POP Max, which makes more sense to me, as the POP Brand is stronger

Is it just me or do the Great! channel DOGs look a lot like the were influenced by Sky Sports?
Write that down in your copybook now

The classic movies are coming to Great! Movies, although there's only going to be one classic movie per day.

Also I wish Great! TV would air some more Sony owned titles (mainly the rarer ones like All's Fair, Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice, etc) like with what streaming services Crackle and CTV are doing.

That's a shame. I was wanting to watch Who Wants to be a Millionaire...

Great TV were suffering picture issues the other day as well where it had rolled half way down, so there was a large black line across the middle of the screen and the top half was under that (including DOG) and the bottom half of the screen was above it. It was very odd and went on for some time before it was corrected.

I'm aware, all Narrative channels suffered that. I can imagine how scared the kids watching POP would be.

Why can't GREAT! just licence more movies? It's always the same movies on every time and the classic channel hasn't added a new movie in ages (a majority of the movies they air are inherited from Sony, if not Dolphin (the company that owned Movies4Men before SPT took over in 2012) and I do remember they added some Paramount owned movies a while ago). GREAT! Movies shows movies from their classic library at like 4:40pm every weekday but to be honest there's never anything new to see. And what's with the GREAT! Movies News thing between every movie? It's pointless and I don't even know why it's even an OFCOM requirement in the first place. It also forces you to record the same film twice as it pops up on the EPG in between the movie. I know this has been here since the Sony era but still.

True Movies, its predecessor, owned by CSC Media Group, later folded into Sony was way better. They showed lots of variety, rare made for TV Movies (GMC plays rare TV Movies too like The President's Mistress but not as many) and once Sony rebranded and CSC liquidated 95% of those movies were gone.

GREAT! isn't as great as I hoped it to be to be honest. Very little changes made. Was hoping for lots of new shows and movies to be licenced but nearly 6 months later and I haven't seen many. Only new show to come to GREAT! is Castle, which I wouldn't even call an "old" show unlike the rest of the stuff on there.

It’s there so that they can show more ads. Channel 5 and ITV also do this with stuff like FYI Daily.

Shame it has to be listed on the EPG instead of being treated as an interstitial
