They’re also broadcasting in vision live on YouTube as well from what appears to be the Westminster studio.

And once again showing how their presentation and technical standards are better than TalkTV and GB News, yet LBC only stream live for specials.

If the BBC aren't carrying then it's even more foolish of ITV not to bother considering it really is there reporting which has led to this moment, and scheduling wise they've only got a Doc Martin repeat tomorrow which they could bump Long Lost Family too.

In this case though off the back of Corrie and with the BBC not doing anything I suspect they would get better ratings for news than for Long Lost Family.

They have News at Ten, why have an extra hour of news. Not everyone watching TV is a news junkie.

LLF isn't a low rating show though, I know you think news take priority over everything but I think ITV made the right call to keep the schedules intact.

Just proves the broadcasters made the right call not to have rolling coverage replace regular programming.

So, Channel 4 were the only terrestrial channel to take the result as BBC1, BBC2 and ITV showed normal programming and in the end it was the right call.

Slight oddity on the BBC where Ros brought in Vicki Young after the result, but weren't able to put her in vision for a good 2 or 3 minutes - instead we got live helicopter shots of the Palace of Westminster. (She was on the Millbank balcony - I'm guessing it was a camera or lighting issue.)
