It is, but to bring it back to ITV, I've seen comparisons being made with BGT and predictions that it will similarly get a boost for being off-air for an extended period of time. I don't agree because the standard of contestants won't be much different and unlike with The Apprentice, it's very easy for viewers to say they've seen something before with BGT so the show seems repetitive and not as good as before.

Because The Apprentice is so fresh and different every series?

If you know the ins and outs of every single episode then maybe it isn't but there's a lot more going on which helps it to appear fresh to the average viewer. Another factor which hampers BGT is that the audience are expected to be OK with contestants being bigged up only for them to fall and their dreams being quashed, so a way out of that is not watching at all.
At least those taking part on The Apprentice can be successful afterwards whereas those from BGT find it an impossible task because they have to count upon a public that already see them as a failure.
StarStruck launches on 12th Feb, 8.30pm - 9.40pm.

It does feel a bit late for that sort of show but then again I think Stars in their Eyes used to air around that time - think it was around 8.15pm for many years. Should benefit from being off the back of The Masked Singer final. I assume Saturday Night Takeaway follows the next week but not heard much about it so far. That should really benefit from having a full audience back.

If I was ITV, I'd be seriously considering renaming the series, due to Starstruck also being on the BBC at the moment.
Maybe call it "Starstruck: Double Takes" or something.
Considering its been sat on the same dusty shelf as Walk the Line, it's not a good start for 2 shows of the same name being on in the same month.

Google it and you just get the BBC show. Even Wikipedia doesn't have a page for the ITV one, the BBC show's page has a note at the top saying "For the ITV game show format, see Stars In Their Eyes". Might as well just call it that!
