For what it’s worth, and despite not being his biggest fan, I thought Alistair Campbell was brilliant today.
I’d suggest they probably haven’t signed anyone permanent yet. I think there’d have been some sort of leak if so, particularly if it’s someone other than those who have stood in. Still surprised Rob Rinder hasn’t appeared yet, that’s who my money is on for the permanent gig.
What's the bet that GMB go OTT tomorrow morning after the England match this evening?
The word 'understated' usually doesn't feature in the GMB dictionary
Have they played Three Lions over the openers (like in 2018) yet?

Was nice to see Sean Fletcher reporting on the Euros the past couple of days

Yet has he even had a day in the hosting chair in the last few months when they've pretty much been letting anyone have a go?

That does seem odd - but there's a chance he may just not want to, he does have a fair amount of other shows/projects.

Sean's decent. I've been saying he's been criminally underused since late 2014 when he was first demoted from being an equal quarter of the presenting line-up to providing two-minute sport segments at 6:35am. He's been used a little more frequently in recent years, but only ever generally as a relief newsreader, and very very seldom as one of the two main presenters. Of course, we don't know what his agreement is with GMB; he may have asked to appear less frequently in order to focus on his other work commitments, but his ability to present effectively was never in question. (For me, at least.)
