Confirmed on tonight's Evening News that Julie Etchingham will present ITV's debate on Sunday.

And all candidates will attend Channel 4's debate tomorrow with Krishnan Guru-Murthy hosting.

The Sky News debate is now on Tuesday

So five candidates for C4 and ITV and just three, or maybe two for Sky's.

Here's Krish in the studio for tonight:

I quite like the look of that set.

On a broader note, I do hope Krishnan gets an opportunity to firmly pin down their perspectives on Channel Four - and broadcasting more generally - and holds their feet to the fire.

There appear to be occasional image glitches on the C4 debate?

I quite like the square with the Channel 4 logo in. It's very 1999-2004, indeed it looks good - Channel 4 should bring the Square back!

I am happy to see someone else has said there are glitches in the debate transmission tonight. I thought my Freesat was at fault. But when I switched over to Freeview the same glitches are there.

A handful of Twitter folk have commented on the interference too. Probably the result of Channel 4 having so many Tories on screen at once.

I doubt this debate will attract many viewers, as considering this is not a general election, and we the public can't vote for anyone of these five people, then what is the point of this debate? For the Tory MPs? For the 100,000 or so Tory members?

What studio are they using?

Now taking a 90 second break, presumably in an attempt to fix the glitches

Going by the live piece on C4 News, the BT Sport studios

I'm asking the same question.  The average Channel 4 viewer is anything but blue, and KGM is acting like a headmaster berating a load of naughty kids.  Poor.

I imagine the ITV debate will be a lot smoother.

It'll be more balanced.  You can't help but feel this is Guru-Murphy on the attack in typical Channel 4 style.  Boris Bad, we get it.  Channel 4 thinks Tories Bad, we get it.  People know what happened in the past, we don't need to be reminded.  What matters and concerns people is the future.  What are these people going to do if they pick the keys to No. 10 up.  The fatal mistake is they're too focused on having a rant about what got us here, rather than the elements these five potentially have the power to change.

I don't think this is the place for your political opinion.

In my opinion, Krishnan is moderating this debate well - holding candidates to account, but letting them speak and not talking over them. Set and graphics are nice - wouldn't expect anything less from Channel 4.
