How many positions do the BBC have at Millbank? There seems to be a studio used for Breakfast which has a TV/screen to provide the backdrop, a CSO position and then the standing position in the newsroom. Is that correct?

How many positions do the BBC have at Millbank? There seems to be a studio used for Breakfast which has a TV/screen to provide the backdrop, a CSO position and then the standing position in the newsroom. Is that correct?

I'm not sure if the one with the TV is a refurb of a previously CSO position, but I think there used to be at least two of those. There's also the position on the roof/balcony etc often used by the Pol Ed or Deputy.

Three at least. One CSO, one live newsroom shot and one main studio. I’d hazard a guess there was were various other capabilities.

Nice sunset, shame it makes the chopper camera look like it's been shifted into the red gamma by about 20 points!

They used it as a nice out-of-opener shot at the top of the hour. Wonder if they'll do a tight shot on Big Ben at the top of Sky News at Ten?

The Keir Starmer interview which has just gone out on BBC News was a GB News pool interview by the look of things, as it was conducted by Darren McCaffrey.

That would explain the awful sound quality and visuals. Very inappropriate that they're part of this pool when they still have such poor technical standards.
