I aint so sure about Red Button hosting the football, I think BBC four will host but halftime and full-time link to bbc one.
But then again, BBC four might be a catch all network for the next week.

The rolling ticker on Sky News just said that Sky News is showing a special programme at 7pm.

Scott Mills just did a brief link mentioning the lack of chart show.
Yes, just turned it on and I'm hearing an instrumental version of Coldplay's "Magic".
Are the words that inappropriate?

I wonder if CBeebies did something similar?
I doubt it. CBeebies is aimed at younger children and airs only shows for younger children, so I don't think they'd make any reference on-air other than the caption earlier.

I'm surprised they're doing that as it's meant to be the Scottish Leaders debate that day so there will be an opt out by STV. I assume Emmerdale will be an hour on Tuesday as well.

STV will have to move it somewhere I imagine. Surprised they've not just bumped the soaps to ITV2 tonight.

Wouldn't be amazed to see all campaigning suspended until after the funeral.
Write that down in your copybook now

They did when The Queen Mother died (skip to 15:36)

They probably can't review the words on every song so they've just gone with all instrumentals.

Scott just appeared for a moment to say the chart show won't be on and the next news is at 5pm.

Did the BBC give The Queen Mother as much coverage as this? I can't really remember.

A long time since they used ITV2 to premiere a displaced soap episode so doubtit tonight but be interesting to see what happens with the omnibus editions over the weekend. They might quietly premiere the episodes in the morning (think they're on ITV3 now).

Are UKTV still showing the obit?
<t>Is the next post dreaded?</t>
I'm trying not to pull the "this is the best stuff Radio 1 has played for ages" cliché but the music they've been playing is actually quite lovely. It'd be nice if they ever decided to launch some sort of spin off to Radio 1 aimed at the ASMR/chillout audience.

Isn't that Radio 2?
