The Builders variant has just aired before Dom Delivers.
Like the music for that one too.
Would be suitable for BBC Breakfast imo but as it's a newsy programme, probably not.

Love the way with Café that the bloke sat in the corner appears in all three idents, in exactly the same position, but dressed differently in each.

Yeah, suppose like the dog walker in Bench, or the birds in Sky. It's nice to have these little details in them; makes it feel like they actually cared when they were making them.

All the little bits of rotoscoping, layers disappearing under other layers. I'm also interested in how they achieved the camera passing 'through the wall' in the cafe idents.

At the risk of getting too technical I assumed they used something I believe that is known in the industry as a "door".

Ha! If that's the case, that would definitely be one way to make myself look an idiot. I genuinely thought they'd spliced two bits of footage together. Possibly overthinking.

I would say however that seeing the equipment they have used in other idents for the rotoscoping I've no idea how that passes through a door. Maybe they used a camera on tracks for this one?
