I can't count for sure, but CNN have sent an awful lot of a lot of people on this trip. The list below obviously doesn't include producers, camera operators which I suspect will have been deployed from London and around Europe.

I'm sure it's not cost-effective, but I do wish, at times like these, they bring back the split programming per region.
Yeah I don’t think anyone will miss Reliable Sources, but these shows usually work better in the weekends, they shouldn’t be replacing live news shows with factual series like this.

Replacing an hour of New Day and Cuomo Prime Time and Reliable Sources isn't really a bad thing, the only bad thing is replacing Hala Gorani Tonight; they use the one of the hours of "The Lead" instead. I'm also guessing this is for time zones like 7pm Hong Kong, 7pm London, 7pm uh Denver? Since CNN do split regions for programming anymore.

I don't understand why CNNI are running with 45 minute editions of Quest Means Business at the start of the week and full 60 minute editions on Thursday and Friday.
The reverse would make sense as Friday is a relatively quiet day for business news.

Sadly I can't say it's a surprise. Even pre pandemic they seemed to take any opportunity to preempt the show to air Wolf & Domestic instead - almost as if they didn't want the show to exist in the first place. A shame though as the show was great and Cyril & Isa were a superb duo.
Cyril seemed to suggest he and Isa will still be presenting pretty frequently but I can't see how that's the case if only Amanpour and Hala's show are airing from London currently and other London anchors like Max and Bianca are also without shows. There don't seem enough slots to go around.
Airing a repeat of Stanley' Tucci's documentary over your supposed flagship European news broadcasts (HGT) anchored by one of your star anchors really is quite emblematic of modern day CNNI. You can there's a great international channel somewhere in there - but too often it plays second fiddle to Domestic and sponsored programming. If I want a world news outlook these days I'm more likely to go to Al Jazeera than CNN - particularly at certain times of the day.

It’s so infuriating what’s happening to this channel. The money wasted on the development of shows such as YWT only to be axed without any justification.

Well, as many noted, no surprise about the fate of YWT. I don't think Bianca's show is coming back either. This channel has gone to the dogs. Even now, when it's back to ''normal'' scheduling, it feels kinda dead. The line-up of presenters is stale, the presentation boring, the sense of urgency and being there is long gone, the hours of domestic simulcasts longer than ever....
AT&T has messed up Warner Media and they don't have the desire of money to deal with CNN, especially its international stepchild. Selling CNN Center will be a symbolic closure. After that anything goes....
