Getting this survey is hopeless - I’ve created 3 Swagbucks accounts and they all haven’t got the survey :?

It's like they have hidden this survey deliberately to make it extremely difficult to find!

It's like they have hidden this survey deliberately to make it extremely difficult to find! Putting it on a third party platform allows the BBC - well, MTM to be precise - to reach people who would not naturally view the BBC's website or have any interest in the BBC whatsoever. Plus, these platforms are not really designed to allow people to choose to take particular surveys, as that would reduce the accuracy of the data - imagine if there was a targeted campaign to shift the results in one direction?
I'll be honest; I'm not gonna bother with that survey. Swagbucks is one of those sites I don't really trust anyway.

As you can plainly see, not many of them work too well...
You can add this mock in The Gallery.

Yeah that is true, shifting the results one way or another is something that has to be avoided, also no idea that MTM is doing this survey!

I don't plan on extending this much further, so I'll pass
Wonderfully weird.

I guess an updated version may appear soon but surely with a planned launch by October at the latest most elements are probably signed off by now.
@Brekkietweets
I only got BBC Sport, with the three gradient lines.

An updated version of the proposed logo, hm? Fingers crossed...

I wouldn't count on it, it's already been launched in America and Australia as well as that beta BBC News app
Wonderfully weird.

I think there's a problem with introducing textless logos for the BBC's sub-brands before the symbols themselves are well-known. You look at other brands that don't have any text, like Nike, Audi, Apple, Twitter, etc., and their logos all began life with the name included until the logo became synonymous. I just don't think it works if you try to do it the other way around, as the symbols don't mean anything to anyone yet.
It does sound like there might be slightly different versions people are seeing, the one I saw almost always had 'News', 'Sport', 'Weather' etc. next to the icons. The only exception was when it showed me a news story card in Google search results, when it was just the BBC logo next to the News icon, without the 'News' text, but given it was a list of news articles and said 'BBC', it was pretty obvious where the article was from.
Mmm, it does sound like they're testing different applications of the icons on different users. I was asked to click on where you'd expect to find BBC Bitesize on the mockup BBC Food page – and the icons at the top had no accompanying text. I also was shown some Google results, but it was the BBC logo with the sport icon... which initially I thought was an icon for business, given it looks like a bar chart.
Yep, I had to find weather on the BBC Food page but all the icons were labelled. Clearly one of the things they're testing is whether it can work without the text or not.
I did think some of the configurations of the blocks were quite clever, like the Bitesize icon looking like some books on a shelf.
I assumed when the BBC rebrands itself at least in the autumn (whether in October or the another month), it will represent the most significant and radical rebranding that the BBC have in 24 years as all BBC domestic and international services will change their logo, even BBC Four and Cbeebies will see the first channel rebrand of their 19-year existence as a TV Channel. I also suspect that three blocks will still represents core services that BBC have (TV, Radio, Online), despite many non-core services like home entertainment, merchandise, etc will also included in rebranding in preparation of its Centenary next year.
ITV Region: ITV News Meridian
BBC Region: BBC South Today
The iPlayer logo was particularly clever, I thought - three purple blocks in a vaguely 'circular' formation (as circular as three rectangular blocks can be!), with the negative space resembling a 'play' icon.

Yeah, let’s just hope this forthcoming rebrand brings some form of brand uniformity (like we’ve recently seen with Channel 4, and gradually, Sky), all across channels, radio stations, services, you name it…
