StarStruck confirmed for 6x75 and 1x90. Same judging panel and hosts that were reported earlier in the week.

I presume they didn't want Olly on the judging panel because of his on-going role as a coach on The Voice UK.

Interesting to see more box sets on ITV Hub. This time focusing on ITV2 comedy shows - some I don't even recognise which (after a quick Google) aired for 1 series 2015/16. Also that press release notes the new series of Bob's Burgers coming to ITV2 later this month. Which I think was last shown free to air on E4? At least this might give a bit more variety to the evening scheduling, mixed in with Family Guy & American Dad.

Thanks to a certain royal death, the schedules tonight have been wiped, and the racing is on ITV4 instead of ITV. That has a knock on effect, as now 90 minutes of the soaps need slotting in next week - maybe more if some of next week's episodes also lose their timeslots. There'll also be a pre-emption when the funeral happens and they certainly won't go fully back to normal until after that.

I wonder if Game of Talents will now be postponed? It was due to launch tomorrow, but it now might not be a good time.

Why are people thinking anything that is remotely fun will be pulled? It's not like it's a drama about an elderly monarch...
#35
You do realise the country is officially in mourning? Do you really expect everything to go back to normal at 6am tomorrow? Because it won't.

I bet they are glad that Takeaway finished last week, as even though anything remotely fun won’t be cancelled, doing a live show like Takeaway would be something else and would be heavily debated

Yes I thought this earlier. Especially considering they hasn’t managed a full run without an issues for the last 2 series!
I presume there’s no reason to expect any changes to entertainment lineups tomorrow evening?

Both the BBC One & ITV schedules are currently as normal after 2pm tomorrow.

I'd be surprised if they didn't tweak the evening schedule as currently they only have a 5 minute Evening News scheduled at 6.15pm, so Catchphrase may be sacrificed - even if it's just replacing the celeb version with a shorter 45 minute civilian edition. Game of Talents (and I Can See Your Voice) may actually benefit after so much sombre news coverage, but if the funeral is next week there might be an argument not to air them tomorrow in the event they don't think it'll be appropriate to air them next week either.

Especially since apparently next Saturday will be when the funeral is. They'd definitely be pre-empted that day if so.

I honestly can't see ITV or the BBC cancelling their light entertainment programmes for two weeks. True, it's meant to be a time for mourning but that doesn't mean we should be subjected to endless news in the schedules.

As it's not a state funeral in the traditional sense, it's possible that the coverage will be on a smaller scale than it normally is.

If they’re going to start this week then take a week off, surely it’s better to start on 24th April. I’m sure ITV have some ‘best of takeaway’ backup that they had in case A&D had to self isolate, they could get that on, or even just a film.

The funeral isn't going to be an all day affair, not even the Queen's Mother funeral lasted that long, I imagine it'll be 9am-2pm on both BBC One and ITV then they'll go back to sports and regular programming after that.

Having caught the end of Scrambled on CITV then, it seems that this weekend the show is ending for good. Whether ITV will bother with a replacement will be interesting to see, as it was originally billed as a Saturday morning show.

Apparently catchphrase today will be a repeat instead of a new episode, don’t know if this is related to the news or not.
