Why aren't they at ITN headquarters at Grays Inn Road?

Kudos to them for somehow making the US Capitol insurrection look like a Mensa meeting.

Andrew Neil continuing to chuck away his credibily and pandering to his new nutcase fans by essentially - and not exactly discreetly - directing these people to both Broadcasting House and to where The One Show is filmed from. He may be calling them stupid in one sentence but it's pretty clear what he's doing on the whole.

Can't help thinking of that bit in the Five(ish) Doctors Reboot Special where Peter Davison, Colin Baker, and Sylvester McCoy are protesting their lack of parts in the 50th anniversary special outside Television Centre when John Barrowman wanders past and reminds them it's filmed in Cardiff now.

Secondly, he isn’t doing anything different to the 100s of other journalists who commented on this event saying they went to the wrong place.

Yes, it''s unfair to say he was trying to incite things and was generally just answering questions - although of course it's comments like those he made in the run up to launching GB News that have put those who work in the "mainstream media" at risk from those who believe they are either the enemy of the government or colluding with the government, depending which way the wind is blowing that day.

Absolute scenes at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff earlier. Although I now gather they've moved on to Pontcanna.

The wording of his second tweet is rather strange though, you have to admit. And not like any tweets I've seen from other journalists. "New BH in Central London. Ground floor. On the right as you walk in." I don't think he's inciting anything, but it's a very peculiar choice to literally give directions like that. Thankfully it's safe to say that all the "protesters" actually managed to do yesterday was make themselves look rather stupid.

I think he was replying to a reply to his original tweet. I don't see it as strange because I don't believe Andrew Neil would do such a thing. He might have been in disagreement with the BBC, but I think to suggest he would direct a mob towards a particular studio and put people (former colleagues) in potential danger, I just can't believe it. Maybe I am naive but I don't think he was doing that at all. https://twitter.com/adrenaltherapy/statu...7210353666 https://twitter.com/afneil/status/1424756162877132814 https://twitter.com/lav25th/status/1424756408503918592 https://twitter.com/afneil/status/142475..._&ref_url= And the One show often broadcasts outside the studio so I doubt his words would have been anything new to the public. It used to be the BBC London studio and was also used for Morning Live. |
