Odd promotion of this by BBC television.
Whilst radio trails focus on both men's and women's competitions, the trail I saw this morning, seems to reduce the fortnight to the South West London leg of the WTA tour.
I know its part of the summer long 'we know our place' women's sport campain, but to run this over and above the most well known tennis fortnight of the year, is a little puzzling.

Didn't realise they'd moved the Quarters too. Was always odd too to play a doubles final after the climax of what is let's face it the flagship event - I thought they might move it so it was played on the Sunday but beforehand (around noon) and push back the mens till around 4/5pm. I guess Thursday is where it fits best in the schedule.

I'm surprised the Sport icon doesn't make an appearance on the trailer given this is rumoured to be the first sport event to feature the new Chameleon look
Yeah I was confused didn’t realise why the Wimbledon trailer had such a women tangent to it unless I’ve missed something and it’s world women week or something.

They're currently running a campaign about womens sport, linked to the Euros I guess, so that's the reason. No harm in it at all - I suspect when you take all the trailers of the last 20 years together and add this on in to it they're still overwhelmingly male focused.

Raducanu and Murray have ended up in the same side of the draw(s) so both on Centre tomorrow. Suspect the BBC may have preferred them on alternate days.

I’m surprised Sue didn’t introduce the opening programme
Although if she presents BBC One from 1:45, at least it means it won’t be an exact copy of 11am on BBC Two like it would usually be
Did this new presenter even get name checked, most probably don’t know who she is
I guess it’s a good place to try it, but we don’t really get to see how it’s used within the actual sport context because Wimbledon for some years now has its own graphics system.
Out of interest where can I see the world feed it’s not on 7e this year?

Isa has had nearly the toughest start possible with having to cover a rain delay on her first morning. Doing well so far.
Not sure what the colour gradient part is I am guessing it’s sport dependant, ie it’s finished to purple because it’s Wimbledon purple specific?

yes, i think the colored gradient changes to match the sport - so green and purple to match the logo of Wimbledon and so on
normal sport graphics would probably be what we've seen already but full yellow
