I'd like it if the Sky Showcase ident was a bit more animated - if the panels weren't freeze frames, you know?

There's something I really like about the Sky Max ident. I think it's because the colours are similar to my favourite Sky One ident...

Why did Sky One's colour keep changing anyway? The 1995 logo was purple, the 1997 one was yellow, the 1998 one was white (on live action backgrounds, so there was no other main colour), then the next logo was orange, then they changed to light blue, which lasted the rest of the channel's life. In fact, the only long running Sky channel not to change colour since the 90s is Sky Sports, which is still red, it's main colour since 1993.

Almost... Sky Sports has been red since 1995. It was orange and yellow before that (apart from the red circle in the logo).

And the logo was red for Sky and blue for Sports at one point whereas now it's reversed and is blue for Sky and red for Sports.
