GB News: Launch
ethanh05 post_id=19278 time= user_id=837 Wrote:Right, so from what I can gather that's now 1 hour and 55 minutes of uninformed opinion and five minutes of weather.

Has there actually been any news?

During this segment? None. It's all just ranting.
Dan Wooton has now moved to the desk Andrew Neil was using, IMO it really doesn’t look great and the set he was using at the start of the show is much better.

Black mirror! the future is now.......
Been out all day and night so can only watch now.

First thought? I have those same acoustic foam tiles on the walls of my home studio!

Picture looks a bit soft given it's supposed to be HD (watching on VM.)
Oh dear, I am getting worried here. This interview is now talking about law breaking, over the June 21st date. Oh this is getting worrying here.

Not ex Wireless is he? If so, he's a school friend of my sister's. Top bloke.

No, no, he's ex-LBC, formerly Editor of Swarbrick on Sunday. I believe he's 20.
I note the lower third headline is posed as a question. This is a trick used a lot by a certain US cable station already mentioned in this thread.
I wonder if this is related! https://twitter.com/morwenw/status/1404171323493040134

I hope Neil has some Blue Nun in the fridge after all that. Or did they forget and it is sitting in the evening sunlight

Andrew Lloyd Webber and law breaking were reported by the BBC.....

Quote:He said he had spoken to "leading counsel" who had told him it would be "neither rational nor proportionate" for the government to "stop us from going forward."
It’s reminding me of news clips from the BBC drama Year and Years!

No probs. He's always organised for me to go onto Talk Radio to talk Eurovision every May.
"What The Farage" segment is next - Oh I wonder how long I can continue?
DavidWhitfield post_id=19282 time= user_id=1016 Wrote:Not sure whether 'praise for Boris Johnson' is a fair assessment.
90% of Dan's show so far has centred around his vehement opposition to Johnson's handling of the pandemic and his supposed imminent delay to the 21st June easing date.
Doesn't sound all that different from what he was doing on Talk Radio.

He's 20 and he's a senior producer at GB News? Interesting.

I got the vibe that Dan was trying to hint at law breaking would be alright - there is a fine line to tread in terms of wording over this. talkRADIO hosts always start off by saying they would never encourage anyone to break the law.
