The trundle cam must still be broken as they're using a recorded trundle cam shot. Just how long George Alagiah can stay leaning back on his chair talking to someone at the top of each hour, who knows? Big Grin

News at 6 opened with a brief cut to E, with George Alagiah. Then an abrupt cut to Christian Fraser (OB in Cornwall), who introduced the broadcast as BBC World News, read some headlines then more headlines by a World presenter. Long titles then back to Christian.

The captions are all over the shop this evening, the breaking news strap keeps coming on and of the screen. And the BBC newsroom has moved to Cornwall if you believe on screen graphics! ?

The problem of having the main media Centre away from the venue and the airport is tearing this apart. Cornwall is one hell of a mess.

Slightly less dramatic but still cut by a third. Although I did think, now iPlayer is so available to most, I could imagine them wanting just a short snappy headlines / update followed by ‘you can see all today’s stories by watching our main programme on iPlayer’ bulletin.

Although the question is what programming are they showing afterwards to want to rush the headlines like that?

At the moment it’s Three-time and when BBC Three comes back as a channel, what then? New content or repeats?
