Yeah that means alot people made money off of nothing really. DIdnt say that work wasnt involved. It was alot of work and money with barely any result. it all sounds the same. Wasteful.

As told already on the International News Presentation thread, Sky TG24, as of today, has been aligned with Sky News. Some interesting deviations from the UK brand but, in general, aligned with the core Sky News brand. They kept, surprisingly, the Glyn M Owen theme music instead of switching to the new Myers/Adelphoi Sky News theme.

Love the Italian music theme, prefer it to Sky UK tbh.

As I commented early in the post, the same musical theme was part of the Glyn M Owen-composed sound branding for all of Sky Italia's channels, as you said, surviving the ownership changes from News Corp, to 21CF, to Sky plc, and even the switch to the Sky 2010 logo. Since Sky plc took over, however, the Sky Italia brand has become more in line with Sky UK (as it is the case in Germany too); currently, the Sky TG24 music theme has been the lone holdover of the Glyn M Owen sound brand.

I much prefer the headlines in that style as it sets them apart from the main straps; I also love the speed to the headlines too.
The name captions are animated well and gives prominence to the reporter by removing the information for the story whilst it is displayed, I think they have taken the best parts of the UK graphics and added wonderful additions to them. Well done.
I massively prefer the Italian version of the total vaccinations strap in the top corner. The strap stays the same size and animates nicely. The UK version is too big and changes sizes which detracts front the story being shown.
We’re all busy laughing at the technical issues affecting GB News, but Sky News is still having issues with its TOTH. Just ‘Sky’ again for the 11am TOTH just now, followed by an awkward pause before Adam appeared.

It’s an fault in the ident graphic which is not replicable or predictable.
In which case, perhaps it needs to be pre-rendered and played out (like the old BBC headlines swirling around the globe) until somebody can figure out what's going wrong?
