Tempted to agree, especially if - heaven forfend - something happens to Zelenskyy within the next few days (I'm not going to speculate what). Seems a bit of an inappropriate capitalisation, but I agree with @gottago in that it's a rather shrewd move on their part, coincidentally timed with some clips from the show doing the rounds on social media.

I suspect there's an audience out there that would like to see it (I'll certainly sample it, but might not bother in the long-run if it's just subtitled in English), and C4 - as well as the other international networks that bought it - are fulfilling that want and supporting the country in the process. The impact of Ukrainian culture in western Europe appears rather negligible, and if we want to make sure it lasts beyond what may happen in the short-term and long-term, we're not off to a bad start; though, on the other hand, it's only Zelenskyy's involvement and appearance that is why we're getting it, and we're probably unlikely to get much more scripted content from Ukraine unless it's in the form of drama that could go on More4 (or BBC4), for instance. Nevertheless, it's something.
Looks like this Zelenskyy documentary is being run live somewhere. Noticed a cue dot in the corner and a slight delay when coming back from the break.
They're both women and that trumps regionality; ITV guidelines
I know I asked this a while ago, but didn't C4 intend to launch the LEMNUS versions of their HD channel last November? It's now March and nothing has appeared on the Sky EPG.

I imagine the incident that destroyed their playout system In September delayed that quite significantly

It certainly won't have helped, but I suspect the LEMNUS playout chains have probably all been native HD for some time, so most of the work to be done is at the Code/Mux centres rather than Red Bee?

I would assume that the old pre-september setup didn't but the replacement does. I would assume that the setup they were due to get as part of their new contract is what was introduced to replace the damaged one.

As for distribution, I would assume that they won't appear on DTT until after the upgrade that will bring BBC1 regions to PSB3

How were/are they doing the LEMNUS regional ads on SD (before Sept, and since repairing the site)? I can't believe they are currently native SD playout chains, who (apart from possibly the Beeb!) would have mix currency playout?

That's a good point, I suppose it's more difficult not to do them in HD. I know their previous playout was old in broadcast terms - I've heard it was effectively the original one they started at Red Bee with. But with the conversion to HD it was probably a bit like Triggers Broom
#LetHerFinish idents currently showing on Channel 4.
It's really sad to hear about the passing of Tom Parker of The Wanted being reported in the media today. He was age 33. RIP Tom.

I recall he had a documentary aired recently about his diagnosis of a brain tumor on Channel 4. I would assume that will get an airing again on Channel 4 within the next few days.

I'd imagine so, and the associated concert was also shown on E4. Both are still on All4.

<t>I may not contribute much, but I will, where I can.</t>
So basically as you were, but I don't really think they needed to bring anyone in. Obviously the Leeds role is to tick that out of London box but can't help but feel they're disadvantaged by not being amongst the core team in London.

Both the documentary and the concert are being shown on 4Music tomorrow night from 9:50pm
