Another look at Franceinfo's new title sequences (not from all tranches). A bit of notes: the 6h30:8h30 tranche is renamed into the more generic La Matinale name, and Le 23h loses its unique graphical style, aligning with the rest of the content.

After 5 years greeting viewers during the big summer and winter holidays, the France 3 marmottes are calling it a career. This evening, they said a final farewell to France 3's viewers, as it prepares to evolve its presentation and programming focus this rentrée to become a more de-centralised offer composed of 13 different regional channels with a focus on regional content, but still with networked programming. The regular idents from Georgia Tribuani are back now on the airwaves.

The de-centralisation of France 3's regional content is part of Delphine Ernotte's plans to make France 3 less of a channel and more of a regional network covering 13 services for each of the 13 regional territories resulting from the 2015 reform, a process which began in 2017 and which is the biggest transformation in the entire history of the channel since its launch under the ORTF in 1972. France Télévisions is also announcing major changes in its presentation. Starting September 6, and gradually during the rest of the year, the name of each region will start to appear alongside the channel's DOG, regardless of the scope of content broadcast. The PACA, Normandie and Centre-Val de Loire will be the first to switch to the new DOG system. Additionally, playout is being redirected into each of the regional centres, and regional advertising will be provided at all times. More on that from France Télévisions' press room.

Unusual for a French news channel to return to normal on a Sunday evening rather than during the matinale on Monday.

I'm sorry to see the marmottes being retired from France 3 presentation. However the regional presentation looks exciting, so we have France Télévisions taking the channel back to it's regional roots, while the BBC in England sticks with national presentation except for certain regional slots.

As expected, very similar to TF1’s main JT studio, but with a BFM TV flair. The larger screen is actually a touchable screen, and there will an additional explainer screen. It has been also announced that both Ruth Elkrief’s and David Pujadas’ shows will have from time to time live town halls with a studio audience.

I'd love to get more enthusiastic about the changes to LCI on Sunday, but as I only receive the dirty 1440x1080 upscaled SD feed, I can't fully appreciate how it'll turn out.

Edit: It appears the 1440x1080 feed at 19.2E is now outputting in HD. The clock and logo look HD, while the rest is still SD.

It is the case since last Tuesday. The FTA feed on Astra is now outputting in HD. A new graphics package is coming too Sunday night, which, as said by Adrien Marie, will debut during En tout franchise at 18:00. Some insiders over at Lenodal say the new look was designed by 17MARS. If so, it will be an improvement on the current Gédéon look, which, even if I find useful and graphically simple, it is not in a par with the rest of the TF1 family. The station's long-time music theme is also being remixed, as shown on this video. It sounds that Laplage is once again in charge of the remix, but maybe also Start-Rec could be this time:

The France 24 simulcast on Franceinfo continued until 0629 this morning due to the Franceinfo matinale team having to produce a bulletin for France 2 this morning. On weekdays at 6am, Franceinfo usually provide a segment of pre-recorded reports and a 2 minute round up of the newspapers from the studio pre-recorded by a duty reporter from the studio.

BFMTV's 2022 à l'épreuve des faits, a new factchecking show every Saturday at 13h with Jean-Baptiste Boursier and Celine Pitelet is filmed at BFM Paris's old set. It's quite a good show and offers something new to the market.
