I didn't know who Lisa Shaw was until I heard the sad news of her passing at the age of 44, only 1 year older than me. I have to say that the reaction of her colleagues at BBC Radio Newcastle as heartbreaking as it must be shows that there is still a strong affinity for local radio. For many people radio provides a source of comfort (and for many its the only other voice they hear apart from their own). Many people treat radio presenters as extended family and their passing must feel as if a member of their own family has died.

so it's a possible cause of death - even though she did get a blood clot it may not necessarily have been what killed her.

Being related to someone doesn’t give you insight into how someone died, unless they are qualified in such matters. They can say what they believe to be the cause of death, but that does not make it fact.
Alright, well I apologise for stating it as fact, but can you really blame me considering the way some of these headlines are written? However, if she was a healthy 44 year old woman with no underlying conditions, what other explanation would there be for her premature demise?
Can we just stick to the facts please? There is too much focus on theories regarding you know what online. Lets keep the forum from them

I didn't even know her death was linked to a vaccine until today, when the news was released, and certainly not when I started this thread. Also, I'm not anti-vax by any means, but if her death has been caused by one then surely that information should be shared, especially if it is in the public interest?
