Sorry but not a fan of a documentary replacing live news and shows even if takes out a day of Amanpour or Cuomo Prime Time especially if it just getting repeated. Just as bad if it was Golf that was replacing that.

[mention]wilmington[/mention] This show was commissioned after the tragic loss of Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown. Whilst this series can never fill the shoes of Bourdain, it's a slice of something missing from the schedules and has been airing on CNN Domestic since March and I believe has already finished its run. Very well known to Americans.

CNN Original Programming is award winning at times, this is a welcome addition to CNNi, in my humble opinion of course.

Yes, I was kidding of course. I'm sure he'll be taught the purist's versions of those classic dishes - but the series doesn't sound quite as adventurous as Parts Unknown. Maybe they decided they just needed a clean break with that format.

From the trailers I've seen, it does look like a well-made production.

A good CNN Original series fit for the international audience, wonder why they are also airing on Wednesday, weekends makes sense but Wednesdays are weird. Amanpour unless they are moving it back to 6 PM BST, I guess will air at 9 or 10pm BST. She's taping for PBS anyway.

I won't mind moving or replacing Amanpour, but airing Stanley's show 3 times a day? Wow.

There are 6 episodes of this documentary. By the time July 1st comes around it'll have finished and CNNi will - if the predictions are correct have returned to normal and we can all be happy.
