No, it’s the same on Freesat with no AdSmart, I wonder if Sky Media Sales have a very good office in South Wales, or if there is one business owner that loves GB News. Because I reckon there has been loads of ads for companies Welsh businesses with physical presence only in Wales.

I remember on 5Live, Chris Warburton being taught how to wrap presents. He was standing at a table doing it, but needed to use the now redundant Web cam stream to see it!

I now know where I'd get a car and broadband from if I lived in Wales. But I don't think Dyfed Telecom service Whitley Bay.

Looks like Merci Muroki discussed a live trial during a monologue in an inappropriate way. No follow-up since GBN have acknowledged their error and promised action to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

They only have a single stream on satellite, and I don't think the DTT COM muxes have any regional versions (except COM 4/SDN for Wales ?)

Which is odd that they didn’t mention it, she just introduced by saying who he was and what position he holds. I can understand it may have been a bit awkward to explain they were husband and wife, but still I think it was more odd to mention it at all.

In all honesty, McVey's husband is surplus to requirements. It's like GB News are paying him to keep Esther company!

What I find interesting is now the GB News Charter, which I'm not sure they've mentioned since the first night, has now been debunked in a court of law as something they are not following.

The judge read out GB News’ editorial guidelines in court and expressed dismay at Muroki’s opinion piece, saying: “I am struggling to see how, as in GB News’ charter, that this article is ‘respectful’ or ‘sets an example by treating others in a way that they would wish to be treated’.”

Being neither an expert in journalism or law I can see why the judge didn't pursue a contempt of court charge as this is very much Mercy giving her opinion on the case in a fairly generic, but unnecessary manner, rather than specifically saying anything which might compromise things such as revealing something about the defendents which may prejudice the jury - but as you say it's journalism 101 that you stick to facts, rather than opinion, whilst commenting on an ongoing trial. That said it is now quite easy for any of us to unwittingly be in contempt of court when deals of an ongoing trial are reported and you pass comment on them on social media.

The politicians presenting news programmes thing feels a bit weird - even weirder with two from the same party! I'm not sure what editorial justification GB News' producers would use; unless, of course, they are saying it is not a news programme?
