GB News: Launch
Well that DTL went well didn't it? A strange sound (sounding like someone eating?) appeared over a Zoom interview so the guest couldn't hear a question, then the interview was cut short with the guest trying to carry on.

And now this with the next guest...

To be fair to GBN, the main players often talk of worldwide death and destruction etc in the mornings so having a slanging match between two presenters might be more preferable!
It might be a good idea to immediately try to make a lot more of the live interviews 'in person' with some solid, reliable contributors who are willing to go into the studio (which I know is difficult in Covid times). The studio interviews seem to go better sound wise than down the line, and if the guests are experienced it adds some professionalism.
This would then give the crew some time to get their ducks in a row and feel more confident with the tech for the DTL interviews they do.
Just hope for GB News' sakes there won't be any technical issues when Andrew Neil interviews Rishi Sunak tonight:

I mean, where do you start dissecting that clip? That might be the worst trail I have ever seen…

If that video clip of Andrew can't even be recorded in the correct orientation (landscape) with a decent mic on a smartphone is there really any hope?

Gibraltar isn't an island (At least not in a geological/geographical sense)

Story about care homes.... let's talk to the owner of Pimlico Plumbers :?
Would love to read the emails going round GBN. The boss of this channel should hang his head in shame.

Another one of those unheard voices who gets absolutely no airtime elsewhere.
@Brekkietweets
Notice that one of the monitors behind Sajid Javid right now has a logo for a company called 'AviRTico'.
Not being familiar with the company, I googled it. Seems to be a German outfit that do a lot with virtual sets.
Wonder if this is something we can expect or whether they've been doing something else for GBN?

I think he was on the show as he was one of the bosses who told workers they would not have a job if they did not get vaccinated, as is being suggested for care homes. I believe he has been on GMB and BBC News in the past.
The first part of the Sajid Javid interview was spoilt because his head shot was out of focus.

It's also getting to be a bit painful to watch with the presenters dragging it out asking him more and more questions not related to what he was in to talk about (forced marriage).

So far the last 2 hours have been the voice of the Conservative Party with Liz Truss on in the 9am hour and now Sajid Javid. Now while I don't mind it being a Tory supporter myself, I really hope we get some political balance, especially with Rishi Sunak on later tonight.
