Coronavirus: News Coverage
Chris Mason was commenting in the last 30 mins that it’s rather unusual for a Prime Ministerial address to be between 5-6, let alone on the apparent subject matter.

Everyone knows what he’s going to say as it was in the papers this morning.

This is beyond the pale! I hope the papers don’t fall for this hogwash tomorrow morning.

In other news - anyone else think Shaun Ley is behaving rather strangely this evening?

A bit unusual, we only tend to have one of those if we were going into lockdown

Will it be one of those that is carried also on ITV?

I'm sure we've had quite a few on Sunday evenings recently haven't we?
I believe there has only been 4 in recent history

We've had a few press conferences but those are different to statements.
<t>Goodbye TVF. Hello TVLF.</t>
So was basically just to launch yet another three word slogan.

A gentle reminder:

Especially on parties that... ...oh wait Ant & Dec have already done that joke on I'm a Celeb. Wink

I noticed on the Freeview EPG it had ITV listed as showing it, which is perhaps the first time I've noticed it being covered by them. Personally I watched it on BBC One. It'll be interesting to see what effect if any raising the Covid threat to level 4 has on TV productions.

BBC and ITV.

Didn't they also used to say what was coming up next at the end of the Sunday results show too? I seem to recall them mentioning His Dark Materials a lot one series .
GBNews delayed airing it by about 10 minutes. I assume this was because Free Speech Nation rather than any issue getting the announcement live.
Sir Keir Starmer to address the nation tonight at 7pm.

The FM of Scotland is getting a statement at 18.00 on STV and 19.00 on BBC1 Scotland.

Scotland may join The One Show late.

Edit: The statement lasted about 6 and a half minutes

Did The One Show welcome viewers in Scotland?
BBC News making a bit of a hash of the commons votes on OS with both result calls being missed.

I don't know if Ros Atkins was watching the commons on some sort of delay but he crossed over to Nick Eardley in central lobby just as the results were being declared twice and then we were greeted with a massive scramble to cut off the reporter and thus, missed both original declarations.
As seen on BBC Newswatch
