Goodbye TV Live forum.
I joined the old place back in 2018 after having been a long-time lurker, and despite not being a regular poster, it felt really rather special.
That site closed down and it was a big loss, but luckily this site came along to save the day, and this site managed to capture that magic just the same, and I’ve been much more active on here than I was in the previous place.
It’s a shame there’s not one specific new forum that everyone’s flocking to, but the fact that so much of a variety, shows how special this place and its predecessor were in many user’s hearts. And with the variety of sites on offer now, no doubt that some users who I’ve enjoyed seeing posts from over the years will disappear. Will miss seeing you all and thanks for the memories.
To many, this was more than a website- this was a place to discuss a rather niche topic of TV presentation with a group of like-minded people; something which not a lot of people would converse about down the pub in person. I will miss it for that reason- for a lot of us, it was an outlet for us to share our TV passions and interests.
Thanks Rob for running this place, and for capturing the magic of TVForum, there’s a strong community here and it will be much much missed.

Farewell, TV Live- you’ve been such a big part of people’s lives and I hope, just like with the blue place, that sometimes we’ll look through the read-only archive and reminisce. Very big loss to the online forum world.
