Reports: BBC set to revive Gladiators

I wonder why the new revival is going to be on BBC One instead of ITV like the original.

Because the BBC are the ones that have/will be commissioning it.

ITV probably don’t see the need for it considering they have a reasonably successful similar format in Ninja Warrior UK.

And yet, BBC One had a similar show like Total Wipeout. I just think the second revival would've made more sense on ITV as it could've been their replacement to Ninja Warrior UK were it not for their decision to bring that show back after initially ending it back in 2019 but that's just me.
