Could a future aim be, to swap programming about, so a programme, more relevant to the North, but originally scheduled for 22:40, be brought forward in the north, and the programme it replaced be shown later, at the time the South is seeing the programme brought forward in the north?

Tailoring the output then. (I still, despite comments in this thread, believe schedule differences are intended and will emerge between BBC ONE (London) and BBC ONE North)
