In the performance section, for instance, the numbered TV channels use the 2021 Reith logos, while other TV channels and radio use the previous logos. I also can't believe that nobody caught how awful aligning the BBC One, Two and Four logos like that looks.
The other thing of note is that they had to add another decimal point for BBC Radio 4 Extra's cost per listener hour simply because of how cheap and cost effective the soon to be axed channel is.
Some more things to note graphically:
- Photo of Studio E still with Gill branding.
- Possibly first outing of Bitesize logo with Reith blocks, stacked.
- Radio promos in mismatched styles of Reith blocks, new radio symbols, Gill blocks and old symbols.
- Use of iPlayer and Sounds icons in print, compared to Bitesize's wordmark.
- Studioworks still in Gill blocks.
- Incredibly low quality photos of CBeebies, CBBC and radio.
- First outing of Parliament and Weather in Reith blocks, alongside other TV and radio brands, in explaining BBC's structure (p225).
A classic case of BBC inconsistency here.
Now on TVTalk, Pres Café and DeviantArt. Goodbye to all that, TVLF.
