It's somewhat outside of my area of expertise, but the UK doesn't really have 5G "standalone" networks yet and if you do a speedtest in a 5G area you'll find that the upstream isn't really any better than you get from a 4G only cell site.
You'd think the popular locations, and especially Downing Street itself would have some sort of wired connection that's always available. Not a new idea, the BBC had a coax network covering all the important places in London like 50 years ago
