If it was to return I think the prize needs to be closer to what BGT offers. So a cash prize and a slot performing at some big music show. Maybe Capital’s Summertime/Jingle Bell Ball or something like that. There’s no point promising the winner that they are going to be the next big star as it’s unlikely to happen anymore. Also with Simon not having a record label he’s not going to have as much interest in finding his next big money maker so the contestants should get a fairer chance. So instead of pushing 2 or 3 acts that look like they might do well outside of the competition give everyone their chance to shine and it could make for a decent competition. Getting the judges right is tricky one but I really do hope they keep Louis Walsh as far away as possible.
