She was only really known for the One Show, and that doesn’t require you to be the most inspiring or talented presenter. The difference to other daytime presenters is they are either legends of the game (like Lorraine), people aspire to be them (like Holly), or they are just genuinely talented at what they do
When Adrian Chiles and Christine Lampard presented The One Show, they were seen as presenters who'd worked their way up from regional / daytime TV to the show.
The very public negotiations between BBC & ITV and Christine after Adrian Chiles left did change perceptions and Christine's career never really recovered.
