Judge Rinder cases tend to be more about who broke the vase and who should pay to replace it or "am I liable to pay for the DJ who played crap music" as opposed to more serious matters, but I believe (much like the American Judge Judy) any "you owe him £1500" comes out of the production fund, the matter is closed and you get the honour of having your fizzog on the TV for 20 minutes.
